great shot, Fella. hard to do. We had 2 of them "performing" a couple times lately, but didn't capture them. One juvenile was heading straight towards me too, - think he was trying to intimidate me, or either was checking to see what the camera was. Its the juvenile I got the pic of in the tree by the beach. He flew around awhile and then landed back in the same tree again.

hi steve n don ..yes i was in full af mode .. iwouldnt be able to keep up with them closing the distance head on sometimes ya can track em than sometimes af cant keep either ..fella

Beautiful capture with the 2 eagles flying fella. Great work! Don Good question Steve, I'd guess he is using the AI servo or one shot focus. I'm curious to find out.

A great shot, and the composition of the two birds has worked beautifully. When you take these shots, is your camera tracking focus automatically, or do you pre-focus and fire the shutter at the appropriate moment - which would sound very difficult to me!
